What you'll need:

  • Basic electrical knowledge and experience
  • Neutral wire in your wall box (required)
  • Mounting box with minimum 60mm depth
  • Zigbee hub/coordinator already set up
  • Standard tools: screwdriver & wire strippers
  • 15-20 minutes installation time

The MINI-ZB2GS fits behind your existing wall switch, completely hidden. Connect two separate load circuits to L1-out and L2-out for independent control.

⚠️ Safety First: Always turn off power at your DB board before installation. An MCB or RCBO rated at 16A must be installed before the device. For single-phase use only (110-240V). If you're not confident with electrical work, consult a qualified electrician.

Yes! The MINI-ZB2GS is rated for 110-240V AC at 50/60Hz, so it works perfectly with SA 220-240V power.
Do I need a Zigbee hub?
Yes! This is a Zigbee device. You need a Zigbee coordinator or hub. For Home Assistant, use the Dongle Max or Dongle Lite MG21. For eWeLink app, use the ZB Bridge-P.
Does it need a neutral wire?
Yes, the MINI-ZB2GS requires a neutral wire. If your home doesn't have neutral wires, consider the single-channel ZBMINI-L2 which works without neutral.
Can I control the two channels independently?
Yes! Each channel operates completely independently. You can turn on channel 1 (e.g. main light) while channel 2 (e.g. fan) stays off, and vice versa. Each channel appears as a separate entity in Home Assistant.
