How do I know if I need the no-neutral version?
Turn off the circuit breaker, remove your wall switch plate, and look at the wires. If you only see two wires (live-in and switched-live-out), you need the ZBMINI-L2 (no neutral). If you see three or more wires including a blue neutral, you can use the cheaper ZBMINIR2 (neutral required) instead.
Will it fit in my wall box?
The ZBMINI-L2 is one of the smallest Zigbee switches available (39.5 × 32 × 18.4 mm). It fits in standard SA, EU-type, and 86-type wall boxes. Even tight retro-fit boxes in older homes usually have enough space behind the switch.
Can I use it with LED lights?
Yes. The ZBMINI-L2 supports LED loads from as low as 3W with no anti-flicker module needed. Most LED ceiling lights, downlights, and bulbs will work perfectly.
What's Detach Relay Mode?
Detach Relay Mode disconnects the physical wall switch from the relay. The relay stays permanently on (keeping power to your smart bulbs), while pressing the wall switch sends a Zigbee scene command instead. This prevents accidentally cutting power to smart bulbs with the wall switch.
Does it work during load shedding?
During load shedding, the switch has no power so it cannot operate. When power returns, it restores to your chosen power-on state (On, Off, or Last State). Set it to "Off" for safety or "Last State" to resume normal operation.
