π Perfect For
Front Door & Entry Points
Pair with a SNZB-04P door sensor for instant intruder alerts. Choose an intense tone for unauthorised entry and a soft chime for expected arrivals β one siren, two roles.
Water Leak Protection
Link to a SNZB-05P water leak sensor in your kitchen, bathroom, or geyser cupboard. Get an immediate audible warning before minor drips become expensive damage.
Motion & Presence Zones
Combine with a SNZB-03P PIR or SNZB-06P presence sensor for garages, hallways, or storerooms. Different tones let you identify which zone was triggered without checking the app.
Camera-Triggered Alarms
Convert your SONOFF cameras into an active deterrent. When AI human detection fires, the siren sounds automatically β far more effective than a phone notification alone.
π Alarm Modes Explained
| Mode | Best For |
|---|---|
| Sound + Light | Security events β intrusion, forced entry. Maximum deterrent and attention. |
| Sound Only | Notifications from motion sensors, doorbells, or scheduled reminders where a visible alert is unnecessary. |
| Light Only | Silent alerts at night, hearing-impaired household members, or subtle status indication. |
| Silent Standby | Device stays online and responsive but produces no output. Battery lasts up to 300 days in this state. |
π Load-Shedding Ready β Dual Power
Powered by USB-C at 5V for normal operation, with a built-in 600 mAh lithium backup battery that takes over automatically the moment mains power is cut. This matters in South Africa: load shedding is exactly when your security is most likely to be tested. When USB power returns, the battery recharges automatically. In silent standby the backup lasts up to 300 days, and even after months on battery it will still sound at full 105 dB when triggered.
Important: your Zigbee hub also needs backup power for scenes to fire during an outage β pair with a UPS or a hub on always-on hardware.
