Does this work with LED lights?

Only with dimmable LED bulbs. Non-dimmable LEDs will flicker or not respond properly. Incandescent and halogen bulbs work perfectly. If unsure, check your bulb packaging for "dimmable" marking.

Do I need a neutral wire?

Yes, Check the wiring diagram included. The dimmer uses Live + Neutral + Load wiring. Refer to the installation guide or contact us for help.

Does it need a hub?

No. Connects directly to your WiFi router via 2.4 GHz. Control via the free eWeLink app. No additional hub or bridge needed.

Can I dim from my phone when away from home?

Yes! As long as your phone has internet (WiFi, 3G, or 4G) and the switch has power, you can control brightness from anywhere in the world.

Does it work with 220V in South Africa?

Yes — rated for 90-250V AC, so it works perfectly with South Africa's 220-240V power supply.

What's the maximum wattage?

300W per gang. This is sufficient for most rooms. For example, that's 30× 10W dimmable LED downlights or 5× 60W incandescent bulbs.

Does it work during load shedding?

The switch requires mains power to operate. During load shedding, it will not function. Once power returns, it reconnects automatically and retains your last brightness setting.
