Does the MINI-2GS require a neutral wire?

Yes. Both channels require a neutral wire for operation. If your switch box lacks neutral, consider the ZBMINI-L2 (Zigbee, no neutral, single channel) or consult an electrician to route neutral to the box.

Can I use only one of the two channels?

Yes. Each channel operates independently. You can wire just one channel and leave the other unused — it won't affect performance. You can always add the second load later.

What is Matter and why does it matter?

Matter is a universal smart home standard supported by Apple, Google, Amazon, and Samsung. Devices with Matter work across all these platforms simultaneously — no need to pick one ecosystem. It also enables local control (faster, works without internet) and simplifies setup with QR code commissioning.

Does it work with Apple Home / HomeKit?

Yes — through Matter. The MINI-2GS appears as two separate switches in Apple Home. Control via Siri, set HomeKit automations, and see status on your iPhone/iPad. Requires an Apple Home hub (HomePod mini, Apple TV 4K, or iPad) for remote access.

Can I still use it with eWeLink?

Yes. The MINI-2GS works with the eWeLink app for setup and advanced features like schedules, scenes, and power-on state configuration. Matter commissioning is done separately for Apple Home, Google Home, or Home Assistant.

Will it fit in my existing switch box?

At 39 × 39 × 18 mm, the MINI-2GS fits most standard junction boxes including the European 60-type. The minimum mounting box depth is 60 mm. Measure your box depth before purchasing if unsure.
