The SNZB-06P is USB-C powered. With a recessed install, route the USB cable through the ceiling void to a suitable USB power supply — for example off a nearby lighting circuit. This is what makes the install so clean: no visible cable at all. If in doubt about mains-side work, use a qualified electrician.
