⚠️ Dry Contact Relay — No Power Output!
Both relay outputs are dry contacts (NO/COM/NC). The AC/DC power input only powers the WiFi board — it does NOT pass through to the relays. Wire the relay contacts across your gate motor's trigger terminals or your device's switch circuit.

Wire Channel 2 relay to your garage door opener's push-button terminals. Set both channels to inching mode. Now one tap in the app opens the gate, another tap opens the garage — from anywhere.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Can I run both channels in different modes?

The work mode applies to the entire module — both channels share the same mode (inching, self-locking, or interlock). You switch modes via the on-board button. If you need Channel 1 in inching and Channel 2 in self-locking, you'd need two separate modules.

Can I power it from 230V mains in SA?

Yes — the ST-DC2 accepts AC 90–260V input, so you can wire it to 230V SA mains. This is a major advantage over the SV (which only accepts DC 5–24V). Useful when there's no convenient DC source available.

What's the difference between this (WiFi) and the Zigbee DC2?

The Zigbee DC2 uses Zigbee protocol (requires a Zigbee hub like the ZB Bridge-P) and acts as a Zigbee mesh router. The ST-DC2 uses WiFi (no hub needed). Choose WiFi for simplicity. Choose Zigbee if you have a Zigbee mesh or need the relay to work during internet outages (Zigbee is local-only).

What is interlock mode for?

Interlock ensures only one channel can be active at a time. When Channel 1 turns on, Channel 2 automatically turns off (and vice versa). This protects motors that have forward and reverse inputs — preventing both from being energised simultaneously. Use cases: motorised curtains (open/close), DC motor direction, actuator control.

Does the relay output provide power?

No — the relays are dry contacts. They act as switches that open/close a circuit. They do not provide voltage. Wire them across the trigger terminals of whatever device you're controlling.
